Get to Know Me
My name is Lennie and I am currently located just south of the Lake District in the UK.
I live with my partner Lucy and our gorgeous boy Jasper. They both bring me so much joy and happiness, I can't imagine my life without them. I met Lucy while working in a coffee shop in Leeds, where love blossomed while making lattes and cappuccinos. In 2019 we traded the city for a cottage in the countryside, where we are still happily settled. In 2023 we saw Jasper was up for adoption with the local pet rescue and we fell in love with him instantly. A week later he was in his new forever home and the rest, as they say, is history!
As for my professional life, I worked in the retail and hospitality industry for 20 years, selling all sorts of things from books, food and greetings cards, to music, clothes and coffee! I loved being able to see and talk to people on a daily basis as well as helping others when they needed it.
The desire to do more "meaningful" work took me from the retail industry to being a carer - helping (mainly) elderly clients with whatever they needed, be it personal care, getting their shopping, doing the housework, or just brewing a good ol' cup of Yorkshire tea and having a chinwag!
I've also always enjoyed being creative. Although I can't draw or paint for toffee, I did find that I really enjoyed computer design and graphics. Being able to put different elements together, to create something new to look at, always filled me with joy. So when social media became such a massive thing in our lives, it was always fun to create posts and reels to put on there, as well as seeing what others were doing and what ideas they were sharing.

After helping a few of my friends with some things that I found relatively simple, but they struggled with, I thought to myself "Hang on, I can use my skills to help people in this area", and so Social Content Magic was born!
